Kids Trade-In Policy
Trade-In Kids Gear As They Outgrow It & Never Worry About A Poor Fit
Equipment purchased “with growing room” is often difficult or even dangerous to use for the first year or two.
To accommodate and to encourage parents to buy the correct size, Ken’s Bike-Ski-Board has established a policy for trading-in equipment purchased from us. This policy began with ski boots, and now includes skis, snowboards, bindings, poles, and bicycles.
When you buy any of the above mentioned gear new from Ken’s Bike-Ski-Board for anyone under 16 years of age and he or she outgrows the equipment within four years, you won’t be stuck with it: We will credit part of the price paid towards new gear for the same child.
The maximum amount allowed towards a new bike is as follows:
We will subtract the price of all repairs needed to bring the bike up to our "for-sale" standards and the loss of value due to any cosmetic damage, from the trade-in allowance.
