Specialized's Dolce Comp Apex Compact provides a light, easy ride you'll absolutely love! The DT Swiss wheels effortlessly sail over the pavement and SRAM's 20-speed drivetrain with compact gearing makes climbing a breeze. Another mainstay of Ken's city bike rental fleet, our Crossroads StepThru bikes are specially modified for the streets of Davis with a simple 1x7 drivetrain, kickstand, easy adjusting saddle height and self-sealing tubes in all tires. Each bike sports a light aluminum frame and an upright position for ultra-relaxed pedaling, while the efficient 700c wheels smooth out the ride even more. With Rans' Screamer, you'll be sitting pretty (along with your riding partner) as you cruise through the countryside. The dual mesh seats provide relaxing, comfy support and the trussed chromoly frame is strong, compliant and rated to carry up to 550 pounds! Plus, you get quality wheels with Velocity 20-inch front and 26-inch rear rims. Thanks to the fine TruVativ/SRAM drivetrain, the Screamer has the shifting and gears to get you over any hill with ease, while Avid's powerful disc and linear-pull brakes deliver confidence on the way back down. What's more, this version comes with S&S couplers for easy packing and traveling.
Globe's Work 2 Step-Through (from Specialized) is a cornerstone of Ken's city-bike rental fleet. The light A1 aluminum and double-wall alloy wheels are quick and easy to ride; quality linear-pull brakes make it easy to stop, too while all-weather fenders keep your nice clothes, nice.
