Plus, you get quality wheels with Velocity 20-inch front and 26-inch rear rims. Thanks to the fine TruVativ/SRAM drivetrain, the Screamer has the shifting and gears to get you over any hill with ease, while Avid's powerful disc and linear-pull brakes deliver confidence on the way back down. What's more, this version comes with S&S couplers for easy packing and traveling.
Globe's Work 2 Step-Through (from Specialized) is a cornerstone of Ken's city-bike rental fleet. The light A1 aluminum and double-wall alloy wheels are quick and easy to ride; quality linear-pull brakes make it easy to stop, too while all-weather fenders keep your nice clothes, nice. Specially modified with a simple seven-speed drivetrain, easily adjusted (yet secure) Body Geometry saddle and self-sealing tubes, it's even better for zipping around Davis. We even include a water bottle cage, a lightweight helmet and a strong combination chain lock with every rental.
